Salman Khan‘s walk out from SHUDDHI is the biggest news that Bollywood talk about since past one month. After numerous cast reshuffle, SHUDDHI had finally found its match in Salman when he gave a nod for the project during a hush-hush meeting with Karan Johar. But the BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN actor’s sudden tweet ruled out that possibility too. Yesterday, he wished Varun Dhawan, happy Shuddhi on Twitter, which was followed by Karan Johar’s tweets confirming the development. Varun and Alia Bhatt have been cast in the film which will go on the floors after BROTHERS wraps up. This leaves Salman Khan with free dates which in turn might be a boon for Yash Raj Films.
The YRF movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar with Salman Khan in the lead, SULTAN, has been in the back burner for sometime because of the actor’s chock-a-block schedule. Now that SHUDDHI’s dates have opened up, this might work as a clincher for SULTAN. There are reports that the film is a story about a 40-year-old-boxer which will require the actor to get into strenuous training to get the physique.
